SPORTING RISKS

All runners participate at their own risk, aware that they are traveling through remote trails of the Sierra Cacachilas, in a physical test of endurance. We will have the support of mules for remote evacuations as well as trained and certified personnel in First Aid in Remote Areas (WFR) at each checkpoint and we will have ambulances at the finish line as well as a contingency plan. In the mountains where the race takes place there are animals that can represent an important risk to health such as rattlesnakes and spiders, we recommend to always keep your eyes on the trail to minimize risks, check the environment when stopping to rest and do not touch or cut branches as some plants can be irritating and / or harmful to the eyes (arrow grass / Sebastiania bilocularis). Most of the trails are rough roads with different paths where it can be easy to get lost if you do not pay attention to the road markings.
